Janet Rose Bryant

BEAVER DAM – Janet Rose Bryant, 74, of Beaver Dam passed away February 20th, 2026 at the Heartford House in Owensboro with her family by her side. She was born in Cromwell on March 3rd, 1951 to the late Belvin and Corrine Butler Coots. She was a member of Cromwell Community Church.

Janet was a 1969 graduate of Ohio County High School. She was the owner/operator of Cromwell Market. She was a wonderful cook, and she opened a deli in the market and it served as a blessing to the community. She was also employed at Southern Elementary School as a lunchroom supervisor and later in dietary at Green River Youth Development Center in Butler County, from where she retired.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis Bryant; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Bryant; brothers-in-law, Michael Cox and James Bryant.

Survivors include her two sons, Jamie (Lisa) Bryant and Jason (Pam) Bryant; grandchildren, Heather (Anthony) Geary, Tyler Bryant, Colby (Samantha) Bryant, Sierra (Raymond) Curry and Harlie Bryant; great-grandchildren, Chase Geary, Parker Geary, Kimmie Geary, Elijah Bryant, Emry Bryant, Hampton Curry and soon to be here, Lainey Bryant; sister, Colleen Cox; her loving caregiver, Linda Kessinger; her very best friend, Gary King; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 26th, 2026 at 4:00 PM at Bevil Bros. Funeral Home in Beaver Dam. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
