With heavy hearts and steadfast faith in God’s promise of eternal life, we announce the passing of Robert Phillip Mansfield, who entered into the arms of our Lord on February 10, 2026, in Arlington, Texas—the same city where his beautiful life began on July 7, 1974.
Robert was born in Arlington, Texas, to his loving parents, David and Barbara Mansfield. Raised with strong values and a hardworking spirit, Robert carried those lessons with him throughout his life. He was a devoted son, a beloved brother, and a man who believed deeply in faith, family, and loyalty.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, David and Barbara Mansfield and his brother, David Wayne Mansfield. He is survived his siblings, Martha Rael and Michael Gordon Mansfield; his beloved wife, Marlen Mansfield; his cherished son, Michael Anthony Coronado; and his treasured grandchildren, Landon Coronado and Hazel Hadley, who brought immeasurable light and joy into his life.
Robert’s greatest blessing and the love of his life was his wife, Marlen. Their union, sealed in marriage in Mexico, was a testament to his deep devotion and the profound love they shared. Robert embraced Marlen’s Mexican heritage wholeheartedly, honoring the traditions, culture, and family bonds that became such a meaningful part of his life. Together, they built a marriage rooted in love, faith, and unwavering commitment.
A skilled and dedicated Tree Climber and Landscape Foreman, Robert was known for his tireless work ethic and strength. He took pride in his craft and found dignity in honest, hard work. Whether high in the trees or leading a crew, he worked with determination and heart.
Outside of work, Robert found joy in the simple blessings of life. He loved fishing, riding and admiring Harley Davidsons, working on his truck, and adding to his ever-growing collection of tools. Yet above all his hobbies and passions, nothing compared to the time he spent with his grandchildren. Landon and Hazel were his pride and delight, and he treasured every laugh, hug, and moment shared with them.
Robert’s life was a reflection of steadfast love, resilience, and faith. As Catholics, we take comfort in Christ’s promise: “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.” We trust that Robert now rests in eternal peace, embraced by God’s mercy and reunited with those who have gone before him.
Though our hearts ache in his absence, we are grateful for the gift of his life, his love, and the memories he leaves behind. May perpetual light shine upon him, and may his soul, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
