Robert "Bob" Louis Mason 91, of Highland Heights, Kentucky, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital Fort Thomas surrounded by his loving family on Thursday August 1st, 2024. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 27, 1933 to the late William Huff and Ruth (Favret) Mason. Robert was preceded in death by his brother Thomas (Myrna) Mason. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Joyce (Stokley) Mason, his children Terri (John) Chesher, Robert J. Mason, Pam (Pete) Hollon, his grandchildren Whitney(Colt) Harrington, Winston Rauch, and Xavier (Breanna) Hollon and his great-grandchildren Roman and Xena Harrington. He retired from the US Postal Service, Cincinnati, OH. "Bob" loved watching sports whether it was UK Basketball, the Reds, or the Bengals but his real joy was watching his children and grandchildren play a variety of sports and supporting his children for years in high school marching band. "Bob" was an avid golfer seen every Saturday morning at A.J.Jolly Golf course including his final round of golf on this earth on his 91st birthday just days ago. He was a long time member of Christian Tabernacle serving on the board and a faithful member of the church choir. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 6th from 10AM to 12PM at Christian Tabernacle, 325 Washington, Newport, KY followed by a service at 12PM. Burial will take place immediately following the service at St. Stephens Cemetery Fort Thomas, KY. Memorial donations can be made to Christian Tabernacle, 325 Washington, Newport KY or to a charity of the donor's choice. Online condolences may be left at www.dmefuneral.com. Dobbling, Muehlenkamp and Erschell are handling arrangements for the family.
