Robert McKee Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ciavarelli Family Funeral Home and Crematory - Ambler on Mar. 18, 2025.
Robert J. McKee, 67, of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania passed away on March 15, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth Powell for over 32 years. Bob was born in St. Paul Minnesota on January 29, 1958 to the late Myron and Eileene McKee and was the youngest son of 13 children.
Bob loved his political campaign work, collecting countless cherished stories through his endeavors. He was active on the political scene in Washington, D.C. where he met Elizabeth-their first date was at a political club. He enjoyed cooking and made family dinners with the skills he picked up from watching his mother. Bob's wit, easy charisma, and kind heart earned him friends wherever he went.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his three daughters: Eileene, Katherine and Megan McKee; four sisters: Joan Fabian (Bill), Mary, Teresa, and Colleen; five brothers: Michael (Joyce), Barry (Mary), Patrick (Joan), and Thomas; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bob was predeceased by his brothers William and Myron, sisters Kathleen and Eileen, niece Katie McKee and great-nephew Niall Mergens.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 10:30 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 259 Forest Ave., Ambler, PA 19002. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Church, followed by Words of Remembrance at 10:15 AM. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard 150 N. Main Street, PO Box 367, Ambler, PA 19002.
