Mr. Robert Phillip Meaders, 83, of Gainesville, Ga., died on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery, Clermont, Ga. Reverend Jerry Abercrombie will officiate the service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025.
Mr. Meaders was preceded in death by his parents Robert Albert Meaders and Fanilou Haynes Meaders; by his wife Shirley Ann Ryder Meaders; and his daughter Melissa Ann Meaders Farmer.
Mr. Meaders is survived by his grandsons Clayton Farmer (Megan) and Cason Farmer (Megan); his great-grandchildren Lucille, Josephine, Charlotte Bailly and Cora Farmer; his brother Charles Wyman Meaders; and his son-in-law Danny Farmer.
He graduated North Hall High School and attended Young Harris College. Phil‘s professional journey took several directions including finance, mobile home transport, and close to 40 years in the grading business. In his spare time, he enjoyed several hobbies including restoring hot rods, car shows, flying, and just spending time with his wife ‘Miss Shirley’. W. R. Strickland & Sons, Clermont, Ga.
