Robert Meier Obituary
Age 86 passed away Tuesday February 10, 2026, at his residence in the Carillon Community of Plainfield where he resided for the past 30 years, formerly a long-time resident of Morton Grove. He is preceded in death by his wife Marianne (nee Birmingham) Meier, son Donald (Patricia) Meier, son-in-law Robert Kussmann, parents Luke and Dorothy (nee Baker) Meier, also a brother Richard (Dorothy nee Crain) Meier. He is survived by his daughters Dianne Kussmann, Joan (Carl) Johnson, and Marlene (Lee) Holland. Grandchildren David (Laura), Michael (Clara), Daniel (Amber) Dana (Matt), and Robert. Great grandchildren Lucas, Logan, Kaylee, Ryan, Emily, William, Elise, Adrian, Bruce, and Charles as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday February 13, 2026, from 9am to 12pm with a service to begin at 11am at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
