Obituary
Robert E. "Bob" Mullet, 65, of Middlefield, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Ohman Family Living at Briar. Bob was born on April 12, 1958, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Ray and Mary (Yutzy) Mullet.
Bob graduated from Berkshire high school and worked in maintenance for the Geauga Park District. He was a baseball umpire for little league, and he loved to be outside keeping busy in his yard. He was a Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. He was active in church and made lasting memories on mission trips to Louisiana after hurricane Katrina and to Honduras. One of his fondest memories was the glider ride he took with Mr. King. Bob loved his mom's meatloaf and he also liked to make homemade ice cream. It didn't matter how cold or hot it was outside, he made it for the family. Every Memorial Day was the annual fishing event- a family affair. He really enjoyed participating in the activities at Briar Hill, doing ceramics to playing bingo, just to name a few. And Bob got a kick out of spending time with his granddaughter Johanna.
Bob will be greatly missed by his daughter, Amberlee (Chris) Hayden, granddaughter Johanna Hayden, and siblings David Mullet and Debbie Mullet, along with his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Calling hours will be Tuesday October 31, 2023, at Sly Family Funeral Home 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. with the service immediately following at 1:00 PM. with Pastor Mike Continenza officiating. Burial will take place at Middlefield Cemetery after the funeral service.
