Robert Neiding Obituary
He was born January 1, 1940 in Amherst, Ohio and had been a life long Vermilion resident.
Bob graduated from Vermilion high School class of 1959.
He worked for Ford Motor Company in Lorain as a mechanic for 30 years retiring December of 1997.
He enjoyed fishing, cards, listening to country music and going to the casinos.
He is survived by his wife of 47 yrs, Barbara (nee Jordan) Neiding of Vermilion; daughters, Kelly (Jim) Riggs of Bedford, KY, and Kathy (Rick) Hohler of Monroeville; sons, Robert Church of Lima, and Michael (Dawn) Waterbury of VanWyck, SC; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and his siblings, Norma Knipper of Elyria, Patricia Strait of Vermilion, Bruce Neiding of Avon Lake and Diane Hollis of New York..
He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Eleanor (nee Wagner) Neiding; his daughters, Carol Godshall and Denise Waterbury; and siblings, Darrel D Neiding, John A Neiding, and Phyllis A Burdue.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
