Robert D. "Bob" Nowicki, age 67, of Chicago, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center following complications from heart surgery. Bob was born on Saturday, May 31, 1958, in South Bend, Indiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, Valentine and Ruth Joyce (Smith) Nowicki; sister, Karen (Nowicki) Burke; brother, John Nowicki. He is survived by his brother-in-law, James Burke; two nieces; one nephew.
Throughout his life, Bob enjoyed bicycling, swimming in hotel pools, and long motorcycling trips. Bob shared many of these experiences with his life partner, Bill Tiritilli, with whom he built a life filled with love and companionship. Bob held many jobs he truly enjoyed, including working as an industrial mechanic at Helene Curtis, and as a sales associate at OfficeMax, and Whole Foods. Bob will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, his love of travel, and the joy he brought to his family and those around him.
