Robert George Nutbrown, 82, of Robbinsville, NJ, entered into his eternal rest with the Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, Robert was a lifelong area resident.
Robert worked as a long haul truck driver for about 25 years for various companies. He was a long time member of Al-Anon. Robert enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on cars, and furniture woodworking. He loved working on all types of projects. He was a hands on guy.
Some of Robert's favorite pastimes also included hunting and listening to Oldies Music. He was an animal lover and dog owner, he was preceded in death by his two dogs, "Sunshine and Finley".
Robert was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Robert is the son of the late Robert A. and Helen A. (Babyak) Nutbrown; and father of the late Richard and Mark Nutbrown.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Charlotte J. Hague; his son, Robert Nutbrown, II; his stepson, Christopher English; his four grandchildren, Mark E. Nutbrown, Nicholas Nutbrown, Taylor (Joell) Nutbrown, Colton (Caitlin) Nutbrown; a great-granddaughter, Olivia Vasquez; a sister Barbara Strickarz; and two brothers-in-law, Frank (Pat) Hague, and Tom (Chinee) Hague; a sister-in-law, Betty Bumback; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends, and his beloved dog "Gypsy".
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Gregory the Great Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Sq., NJ. Burial will follow in St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery #3, Hamilton, NJ.
