Robert J. Papura, 54, of Amsterdam, passed away suddenly on November 30, 2022.
Born on December 16, 1967, to Robert H. Papura and Jeanette (Dybas) Papura.
Robert graduated from Amsterdam High School (Class of 1986). He was employed by B+B Plumbing & Heating as a journeyman.
Robert was predeceased by the love of his life and wife Tara (Wood) Papura as well as his father Robert H. Papura.
A hard working, loving and supportive father leaves behind his 4 children; Nicholas, RyLeigh, Nataleigh and Ethan Papura. His mother Jeanette (Dybas) Papura, sister Kelly (Papura) Daigle (Doug), brothers, Dr. William Papura (Tara), Eric Papura and Frank Dybas. Mother-in law-Terri Rockwell-Wood, sister-in-law Leigh Ann Wood, as well as several nieces and nephews, and his canine companions: Comet and Tamara.
Robert was an avid football and baseball fan and always rooted for the NY Buffalo Bills and NY Mets, he also enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, and playing his Bass guitar.
He left us so quickly and will be missed by many and forever loved by all.
Cremation has taken place through the care of Simple Choices, Inc. The Papura Family has chosen to honor Robert's memory in a private way.
