Jason Guisti Obituary

He was born in Amsterdam, NY on August 1, 1973 a son of the late Raymond H. and Adelia Hoefs Guisti Sr. He was raised in Amsterdam and was a 1991 graduate of Amsterdam High School.
Jason was employed as an AC/Furnace Residential Installer for Appolo Heating in Schenectady, NY.
He married his "Partner in Crime" Marisa L. "Missy" Guisti on September 8, 2001. In addition to his dear wife, he is survived by his beloved son, Luke R. (Natalie Skotarczak) Guisti of Amsterdam. His brothers, Raymond (Kelly) Guisti Jr. and Michael Guisti. Father and Mother-in-law, Larry and Judy Vogel. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale Haight, Richard (Jenn) Morin, Shari (Anthony) Vogel. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, especially Emma, Lizzie, Lily, Angela and Mikey. His dear friend, Joseph Piasecki. His pets, Kiki (Love Muscle), JJ and Ollie, his grand dogs, Meatball and Little Puff.
Jason was known for his sense of humor. He was a simple man and was always there for others. He enjoyed his camp in Cherry Valley, NY along with hunting, grilling and cooking for his family. His mac-n-cheese and his Reuben sandwiches were always a hit with everyone. Jason also enjoyed his time spent 4-wheeling. He truly loved being with is family, wife, dear son, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and friends. Along with his parents, Ray Guisti and Adelia Hoefs Guisti he was predeceased by his sister, Allison Guisti who passed away on January 19,2017.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Rose & Hughes Funeral Home, 200 Church St., Amsterdam, NY. Remembrances will be shared at 7:00 PM at the funeral home on Thursday.
