Nancy E. Flint Pabis, 60, of Amsterdam, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Amsterdam on October 7, 1964 a daughter of the late Robert J. and Mary V. Case Flint. She was a lifelong Amsterdam resident and was a 1982 graduate of Amsterdam High School.

Nancy was employed as an Accounting Specialist for CV Holdings Co. She also worked for a time at Amsterdam Printing, Amsterdam Memorial Hospital and Mohawk Finishing. Nancy enjoyed being with her family. She loved to cook for everyone and single handedly hosted many family functions over the years for her ever-growing family. She was a volunteer during the tenure of the family namesake Flint Memorial Softball Tournament's. She also helped at various fundraising events for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the surrounding Amsterdam area for many years.

She was an avid sports fan and loved cheering on her NY Giants. She was a social person always seen with a welcoming smile and open ear and loved being with her family and friends, her family was her life.

She is survived by her children, Jonathan Johnson of Amsterdam, Christoper M. Pabis (Joy La) of Amsterdam and Casey Pabis (Justin Gillen) also of Amsterdam; six grandchildren, Marley Pabis of Folsom, Pa, Jeremiah Pabis, Lilyana Pabis, Jonathan Johnson Jr., Camille Vann and Kinsley Gillen all of Amsterdam; her best friend, Anthony Greco; one brother, Matthew Flint (Regina) of Fultonville; four sisters, Linda Flint Lipper (Stuart) of North Plainfield, NJ, Kathleen Reilly (Tim) of Latham, NY, Sharon Muray (Jim) of Fort Wayne, IN, and Maria Flint Kowalczyk of Amsterdam; one Aunt, Betty Terwilleger of Amsterdam; nieces and nephews and cousins also survive.

She was predeceased by her parents and brother Thomas "Flick" Flint and her dear longtime partner Paul Karutis.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rose & Hughes Funeral Home, 200 Church St. Amsterdam. A Service of Remembrance will follow on Saturday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
