Robert Lee "R.L." Parsley went to be with the Lord on September 6th 2025 at the age of 79. Mr. Parsley was a longtime resident of Lenore. He was born July 31, 1946 to the late Allen and Pearl Hall Parsley. He grew up surrounded by a large family and was preceded in death by his siblings, Allen Jay (Betty) Parsley, Irene (Cecil) Mahone, Carl Sr. (Jackie) Parsley, Gene (Sylvia) Parsley, Bill Parsley and Donna (Tom) Thompson as well as his nephews, Allen "Socky" (Beth) Parsley, Carl Jr. (Debbie) Parsley, James "Jimmy" Parsley, Samuel Parsley and nieces, Carole Parsley Vagott and Jan Roose. Those went before him surely welcomed him with open arms, as he now takes his place with them. Robert along with his brothers owned and operated for many years Parsley Cable Company. He enjoyed working with his hands and loved being in the outdoors. He was of the Baptist faith. Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving and devoted wife of 57 years Patricia Gilman Parsley with whom he shared many years of love and partnership. His daughters, Dr. Deidre Parsley-Ross and her husband Dr. Luke Ross and Dr. Sybil Parsley-Duncan and her husband Gary were his greatest pride and joy. R.L. poured his heart into being the father his daughters could always count on, and his love for them never wavered. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, Teresa (Mike) Matney, John (Dyann) Parsley, David (Colletta) Parsley, Charlie Mahone, Jane Parsley and Steve Parsley.
