His Legacy Robert Michael Petrovich, age 75, passed away April 6, 2023. He was born on June 28, 1947, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Michael Petrovich and Pauline (Fure) Petrovich. After knowing each other for only six weeks, he asked the love of his life, Marie LaBean, to marry him. They were married a year and a half later, on May 19, 1978, at St. Sebastian Church in Dearborn, Michigan. He took delight in showing her off at the B.A.R. at Greenfield Village, where he volunteered. A true Marine at heart, Robert was a hard-working, dedicated man who enjoyed shooting guns, bows and arrows, and knives and tomahawks. Following his years on tour as a Vietnam vet, he was a true homebody who loved spending time with his family. Robert showed up every day after school for his son Bryan's sports practice, and also taught him both how to shoot and how to respect a gun. A member of the Livingston Gun Club, Robert was very diligent about gun safety, and enjoyed teaching and sharing his knowledge in hunter's safety classes and wherever he could. He will be greatly missed.
His Family Robert will be missed by his wife Marie; his son, Bryan; brothers, Joseph, Paul, Peter, Henry, and Anthony; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Pauline, and his brother, Michael.
His Farewell Robert's family and friends will gather Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 1:00pm until time of service at 5:00pm at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel.
