It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Pluff, who left this world peacefully on June 4, 2025. At the age of 82, he succumbed to complications from cancer. Bob was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, whose warmth, kindness, and humor touched everyone he met.
He was born on August 25, 1942, in Niagara Falls, NY to Francis M. Pluff and Margaret Pluff. Bob later spent his retirement years enjoying Crossville, TN.
Bob proudly served his country in the US Navy, where he developed a steadfast dedication to service and camaraderie. After completing his military service, Bob retired in 1999 after many devoted years working for the Iron Worker's Local #6 West Seneca, NY, and the Highway Department in the Town of Lewiston, NY. Post-retirement, he embraced his role as the Lake Tansi Building Coordinator, where he was known for his meticulous care and community spirit.
Bob found immense joy in going on cruises and playing online poker. He was known as 'Bobby Boucher' when playing card games with his friends and family. His love for life's simple pleasures was evident to all who were lucky enough to know him.
He is survived by his daughter Lisa A. Pluff and son Robert J. Pluff. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Leia Wilkinson and Brody Pembleton, and his precious great-granddaughter, Ember Jones.
