Robert B. "Bob" Powers Sr., 69 years, of Temperance, MI passed away on August 19, 2025 at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. The son of Lynn and Doris (Dull) Powers he was born on February 21, 1956, in Toledo, OH.

He graduated from Bedford High School in 1974, where he proudly served as drum major for all four years-a role that reflected his leadership and dedication from an early age.

Bob went on to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. Following his military service, he continued to contribute to his community as a Reservist with the Monroe County Sheriff's Department for 15 years. His professional career spanned four decades at Rolled Alloys, from which he retired after 40 years of dedicated work.

A man of many interests and passions, Bob enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He was also an avid golfer and a devoted collector of coins, Masonic memorabilia, and paintings by Gregg Murray. His commitment to community and tradition was further exemplified by his 22-year membership with Samaria Masonic Lodge 438.

Bob leaves behind his children, Jennifer (David) Harsh, Angela Powers, Robert (Brad) Powers Jr., and Danielle (Powers) Dalton. He was the proud grandfather to six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also cherished in his life was family friend Belinda Ball.

He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his brothers, Stephen and Fredrick Powers.

Bob's legacy is one of service-to his country, community, workplace, and family. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.

Arrangements for a Masonic service and luncheon are pending. The date and time will be announced at a later date. At this time in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
