Robert(Bob) J. Recupido, age 85, died on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at St. Mary Medical Center.
Born in Philadelphia, Bob was a resident of Langhorne for the past 7 years. He formerly resided in Cherry Hill, NJ for 50 years. After leaving Cherry Hill, he still frequently traveled back there to meet his good friends the Reeds for lunches and to celebrate special holidays with them.
Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Ranalli) Recupido.
Dear brother of Virginia (nee Recupido) Morse (James).
Loving Uncle of Alfred J. Recupido, Inez Recupido, Tammy Dunham (Scott), James O. Morse II, Dawn A. Dowd (Scott), Jennyfer J. Giffin (Marc) and Lucia M. Praul (Douglas).
Great Uncle to Alfred J. Recupido III (Sarah), Lauren Sposato (Vincent), Scott Dunham II, Brandon Dunham, Johnathan Dunham, Lucia M. Gerrity (Colin), Jessica J. Hill (Joshua), Katelyn C. Fiore (Steve) and Daniel Praul (Cas).
Great, Great Uncle to Alfred J. Recupido IV, Oliva Recupido, Edie Sposato, Sofia Colon-Nazian, Gabriella M. Gerrity, Colin E. Gerrity, Gemma A. Fiore, Boney W. Fiore, Gemma A. Praul and Nova F. Praul.
Because of his love of children, he was an honorary Uncle to many, including Michael Reed (Laura), Lucas Reed, Owen Reed, Andrew Reed, Alyse Krieg (Justin), Carter Krieg and Ryan Krieg.
Bob was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was proud of his service. Often, he could be seen wearing his Korean War baseball cap.
He was employed as a conductor with the Pennsylvania Railroad, which later became Amtrack. After 40 years working on the railroad, even after he retired, he would dream of still being on the train and punching tickets. Bob enjoyed walking the train, punching tickets, and making friends. Until the end, he was still good friends with many people he worked with.
Bob liked to play poker and made many good friends at the casinos.
When at home, he could be found sitting in his recliner watching Old Westerns. He made us laugh when he commented that they were all reruns. If he wasn't watching Old Westerns, he would be watching Phillies games.
His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at Our Lady of Grace Church 2254 Bellevue Ave. Penndel Pa. 19047. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30AM.
The interment will take place in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Newtown Pa.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the above-named church.

Uncle Bob was our uncle by proxy but friend by choice. We will remember him when we watch Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives as he often called asking if we ever ate at any of the restaurants featured on the show. His phone calls were short and to the point and he always asked how each individual family member was doing. We toast him, Aunt Mary and Earlene. May they all be enjoying each other in paradise. Love, The Conversa´s
