Fulvio Recupido

Fulvio Recupido, 81, of Clifton, N.J., passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at Shook's Cedar Grove Funeral Home, 486 Pompton Ave., Cedar Grove, N.J. Services begin on Wednesday, December 15 at 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. at St. Clare's Church, Clifton, with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Born in Montella, Provincia di Avellino, Italy to the late Pasquale and Antonietta Recupido, Fulvio came to the US in 1972 and lived in Jersey City before settling in Clifton. Prior to retiring, he was a mason with Laborer's Union #325 in Jersey City, N.J. He was a parishioner of St. Clare's Church, Clifton. He was an avid soccer fan especially of the Italian National Team and Serie A soccer (a fan of Inter). He had a passion for gardening and making his own homemade wine. He loved and adored his grandchildren.
Predeceased by his daughter, Milvia Recupido, he is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Imperia (nee: Sapio); loving children, Antonietta Recupido and Pasquale Dennis Recupido, and his wife, Tara; cherished grandchildren, Cesare Domenick and Siena Milvia Recupido; and dear siblings, Anna Del'Grosso, Nicola Recupido, and his wife, Giuseppina, Carmelo Recupido, and his wife, Mirella, Giuseppina Caldarone, and her husband, Vinicio, Raffaella Della Sala, and her husband, Antonio, and Letizia Pizza, and her husband, Italo.
