Robert E. “Bob” Reisinger, 67, of North Lewisburg, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 23, 2023 at his residence.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Army Reserves and was a member of the VFW Post 3320. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson and was a collector of nearly anything and everything. He will be remembered for his “gift of gab” and his talks will be missed by many that knew and loved him.
Born December 20, 1955 in Springfield, he was the son of the late Virgil and Barbara (Stiffler) Reisinger. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Stambaugh; a step granddaughter, Lindsey Marsh and a sister-in-law, Sue Reisinger.
He is survived by his daughter, Jessica (J.D.) Gibson of East Liberty; son, Robert (Babette) Reisinger-Paulson of North Lewisburg; stepson, Donald (Angie) Paulson of Mechanicsburg; stepdaughter, Robin Paulson of Huber Heights; grandchildren, Kane and Kaelin Gibson, Basha (Robby Mazzolini) Reisinger-Paulson, Justice (Alexis Curry) Reisinger-Wyatt, Robert “Eli” (Emma Bowsher) Reisinger-Paulson and Lainey (Ryley Schellenbaum) Reisinger-Paulson; step grandchildren, Taylor and Cassie Paulson, Kinsleigh Marsh and Gabe and Birdie Lewis; great grandchildren, Kizer Lee Williams and Maddox James Reisinger-Paulson; brothers and sisters, Esther (Roy) Hammond, Sandy (Jim) McFarland, Virgil Reisinger, Mark (Jane) Reisinger, Darlene (Troy) Fitch, Phillip Reisinger and Brian (Tammy) Reisinger; a brother-in-law, Floyd Stambaugh; a sister-in-law, Gloria Reisinger; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lewisburg where Military Rites will be conducted by the Union County Honor Guard. A funeral procession will begin forming at 9:45 A.M. at Wilson Funeral Home 621 W. Fifth St. Marysville and proceed to the cemetery at 10:15 A.M.
