Janice E. "Jan" Reisinger, 60, of McAlisterville, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025.
Born on February 14, 1965, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she is a daughter of Maxine Grace (Whitesel) Varner of McAlisterville and the late Robert C. Varner. On May 18, 1988, she married her surviving husband, Gregory S. Reisinger with whom she was blessed to share over 36 years of marriage before her passing.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by one sister, Ann White and her husband Mike of Romney, WV; one niece, Amanda; three nephews, Michael, Lucas, and Lewis; and many beloved friends.
She was a 1983 graduate of East Juniata High School in Cocolamus and was a graduate of Eastern University in St. Davids, PA with a Master's in Business Administration (CAE).
Jan was currently employed as the Executive Director of the Pennsylvania College of Emergency Physicians.
She attended the Thompsontown Methodist Church and her memberships included the Juniata County Business and Professional Women (BPW); scheduling and refereeing in the Mid Penn Field Hockey Association; and enjoyed mentoring young girls with Girls on the Run.
Jan loved to travel, especially with her friends to the beach and other various locations, for her work, and with her husband to Europe.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Bunkertown Brethren Church, 52 Bunkertown Road, McAlisterville with Pastor Ron Berrus officiating. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mrs. Reisinger's memory can be made to Furry Friends Network, P.O. Box 519, Boiling Springs, PA 17007 or online at www.furryfriendsnetwork.org.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brown Funeral Homes, Inc., 111 Westfall St., McAlisterville.
