A proud graduate of Linden McKinley High School in Columbus, Doyle carried the values of hard work and perseverance throughout his life. Doyle had a zest for life that included a range of hobbies and interests. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and in his younger years, hunting, all of which brought him joy and allowed him to connect with nature and his loved ones. His lifelong dream was to own a farm, which he achieved and dearly enjoyed throughout the years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Anna Louise (Baker) Painter, Sr.; a daughter, Brenda Painter; his grandsons, Jason and Garret Winter; as well as his brothers Barney, Tommy, and Jerry Painter, and sister Karen Painter.
"Diane and Linda would like to stress our gratitude for such a wonderful Father who taught us values, respect and helped us prepare for successful, loving lives."
