Robert "Bob" A. Ritchie, 67, found his eternal rest on April 5, 2023 after bravely fighting cancer. He was born to the late Robert and Dorothy (Stophel) Ritchie on June 4, 1955 in Fond du Lac.
Bob graduated Goodrich High School and completed his apprenticeship through Local 400 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union.
Bob married his best friend, Barbara Grathen on October 12, 1991 in Fond du Lac.
Family and friends were very important to Bob. He enjoyed boating with friends, camping and watching the Brewers in the summer. Bob was a diehard Packer fan. He loved playing Sheephead and Cribbage and challenged opponents to catch him fast-pegging.
Bob is survived by his wife Barb; children Eric (Sandi) and Brandon; grandchildren Grace, Blake, Ella and Maddie; siblings Deb Langacker, Jeff (Mary) Ritchie, Mike Ritchie, Terri (Glenn) Bulman and Tim (Conni) Ritchie and his beloved dogs, Ollie and Katie.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Mike Langacker.
Bob's family invites friends to a visitation on Thursday, April 13th at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St, Fond du Lac from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again, on Friday, April 14th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters Ave, Fond du Lac, 9:00 a.m. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Bob will be laid to rest in Chapel of the Risen Christ – Calvary Mausoleum.
