Robert Douglas "Doug" Schaumburg, of Shreveport, LA, passed away on November 26, 2021, at the age of 71. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 6, at Osborn Funeral Home beginning at 10 am with a memorial service to follow at 11.
Doug was the third-generation owner and president of the family business-now called Casco Industries.
He was a member of Kappa Alpha Order as well as an Alumni of C.E. Byrd High School and Louisiana Tech. He was also an officer in FEMSA (fire and emergency manufacturers and services association).
He was preceded in death by his parents Rilla Jean and Warren Edward Schaumburg and sister Polly Margaret Ebarb.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Emily Murphy Schaumburg; daughters, Emily Margaret Schaumburg Smith and Anne Schaumburg Perque, and husband Tate; sons, Michael Edward Schaumburg, and wife Melissa, and Robert Henry Schaumburg, and wife Carmen; grandchildren, Aliyah Rivers, Ariana, Dayton and Ali Smith, Georgia and Alex Schaumburg, Florence and Murphy Perque as well as several nieces, nephews and numerous other family members.
