Robert Slama

Robert Lewis Slama was born December 28th 1950 in Ogden, Utah. His parents were James L. Slama & Yvonne Holly Slama. Bob attended Ben Lomond High School and after graduation he served in the United States Navy, he loved his country and was always interested in the welfare of this nation.
He Loved his family, and friends very much and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved the outdoors and spent time prospecting for gold, going fishing, but one of his greatest enjoyments came from going bowling with his friend Rick. Bob had a beautiful smile and a great sense of humor, and he enjoyed teasing or joking with those around him. He will be greatly missed by many.
His very best friend was Liz Taylor, for her life will never be the same, he was happy to help her with her challenge of being totally blind, he became her eyes. He was a good man and enjoyed reading from the Book of Mormon, He said on several occasions he believed in the Lord Jesus Christ and knew Christ to be his Savior.
Robert is survived by Joann (Bob) Holmes, Teresa Johns, Michael Slama, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dan R. Slama.
Funeral services will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Friday Nov. 1st, 2024 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. A viewing will be held prior to services from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Interment following services at Ogden City Cemetery.
