Robert Stanley went home on August 23, 2025. The hardest worker anyone could ever know, Robert dedicated his life to both his work and his loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of pride and devotion.

Robert was an avid deer and turkey hunter and found comfort in the outdoors. His passion for landscaping and forestry was not just his profession but also his calling. Through his work as a landscaper, he shaped and cared for the land with patience, skill, and a deep love of nature.

Robert's greatest treasure, though, was his family, whom he loved fiercely and who loved him just as deeply. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife, Tracy; his two daughters, Chelsea Stanley (Christina) and Summer Russell (James); four grandchildren, Jameson, Theo, Benjamin, and Charlotte; as well as siblings, a brother-in-law, nieces and nephews, and parents. He was endlessly proud of his daughters, and, as "Papaw," he was a source of the best belly laughs while fishing and pillow fighting.

He was preceded in death by his cherished mother- and father-in-law, Linda and Herb Harvey, and nephew Josh Harvey, whose memories he held close to his heart.

Though our hearts ache, we take solace in knowing he can finally rest and that we will see him again someday, hopefully fishing pole in one hand and garden pruners in the other.

Per his wishes, the family will have a private burial at a later date.
