Robert H. Stolzenberg

Robert H. Stolzenberg entered into rest on October 27, 2025. Born May 24, 1962, he
was the son of Patricia and the late Harold Stolzenberg.
Bob was born at the Newfane Hospital and grew up with his brother Doug Stolzenberg
and Donna (Lingle) in Burt, NY.
Bob worked many different jobs during his life. As teenagers, Doug and Bob worked at
a friend's farm on Transit Road, bailing hay and caring for the animals and fixing fences,
splitting firewood, and helping remodel the farmhouse. He also worked at a vineyard,
tying grapes, and was a farm hand at a local orchard. More recently, he conducted
fieldwork at the Niagara Frontier Golf Course and held multiple positions as a
machinist. Bob was highly skilled as a machinist and achieved his journeyman
certificate during his career. His most recent job was at Confer Plastics in North
Tonawanda.
He never stopped pursuing his lifelong passion for the outdoors, classic cars, sailing,
and his love of live music. He was a leader for a Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venture
Crew Troop for his children. He always looked forward to going on the yearly family
camping trip to Allegany State Park and enjoyed cutting wood, playing Euchre, and
enjoying campfires. He was a big fan of the Grateful Dead, Barenaked Ladies,
Tropidelic, and many other local and national touring bands and musicians. He was an
avid sailor and participated in many races. Bob was a member of the Olcott Yacht Club
and also held the Commadore position.
Bob was extremely loyal to his friends and family. He would make it to almost all of his
grandkids' many sports games, and he will always be remembered for being a positive
family man.
Bob is survived by his wife, Melynda Stolzenberg. Beloved father of Steven
Stolzenberg, Samantha (Michael) McAllister, and the late Heather Stolzenberg.
Cherished grandfather of Jenna Stolzenberg, Kiara McAllister, Riley McAllister, and
Seth McAllister. Cherished son of Patricia (late Harold) Stolzenberg. Dear brother of
Doug Stolzenberg (late Ginger), and Donna (Jim) Lingle. Also survived by his aunt
Connie (Karl) Beccue, the late John Foley, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and
friends.
Friends may call on Saturday, November 1st from noon to 4PM at Rutland-Corwin
Funeral Home, Inc. in Newfane, New York. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
