Theresa M. Brandt

Theresa Marie Brandt went home to be with her Heavenly Father, on November 9, 2025 with her family at her bedside. She was born on March 1, 1933 to Agatha and John Schafer and loved being raised on their family farm. Theresa was predeceased by all of her siblings, John Kugler, Ethel Sparks, Gladys Crane, Howard Schafer and Robert Schafer. She married John Brandt in 1949 and was married for 47 years before his passing. She was the mother to John (Robin Wittcop) Brandt, Susan (George) Hale, Nancy (Dwayne) Bartlett, Cynthia Webb and Joseph (Nichole) Brandt. Predeceased by her children Mary Ann (Roy) Rutherford, Barbara (Ralph) Sharrow, Jean Dagonese, and James (Melissa) Brandt.
She was also blessed with a significant number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Theresa retired from Harrison Radiator. She enjoyed being the matriarch of her family, raising her children and helping to raise numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, being a homemaker, cooking for her large family everyday, farming, reading, gardening and riding with her husband on their motorcycle. She had a love for dogs, never having been without one, with a specific fondness for German Shepherds owning at least 7 in her lifetime. Theresa loved visiting with her family, a good laugh and a good deal. She took pride in the family's accomplishments and wanted everyone to feel welcomed and happy in her home.
Theresa will be dearly missed by those waiting to be reunited with her. A celebration of life is being held at Solid Rock Church in Gasport, NY on Sunday November 16, 2025 @ 3pm. A future graveside service will be held at Hartland Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made in her name to Niagara Hospice.
