Robert L. Teichert Sr.

Robert L. Teichert Sr. of Millsboro, Delaware passed away in his home on Thursday, June 13, 2024. He was 89 years old.
Robert was born in Lehighton, Pennsylvania in May 1935 to the late Clarence and Stella Teichert of Whitehall, PA. He was the oldest of three children, all preceded him in death. He was a graduate of Whitehall High School and a military Veteran of the Korean War. Robert was married to the late Patricia A. (Zartler) Teichert in February 1958.
Robert was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved the outdoors and nature. He was a devoted and caring husband and father to his wife Patricia and his two children Deborah L. Davis-Koval of Mohnton, Pennsylvania and Robert L. Teichert Jr. of Emmaus, Pennsylvania. He worked at the Bethlehem Steel's Philadelphia Bethlehem & New England Railroad for over 40 years as a Data Processing Manager and retired to Millsboro, Delaware with his wife in 1999. He was an active member of the Creeks End Community.
Robert leaves, to cherish his loving memory, his children Deborah and Robert Jr., along with his 4 grandchildren: Kimberly A. Swing of Downingtown, PA, Nina K. Fedora of Hamburg, PA, Nathan R. Teichert of Royersford, PA and Robert A. Teichert of Royersford, PA. He also leaves behind 2 great-grandchildren and a host of family, friends and amazing neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church, 30839 Mount Joy Road, Millsboro, DE 19966 with a Christian Mass to follow at 11 a.m.
