Robert Christopher Tooley, 43, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Born in Greer, he was the son of the late Robert Gerald and Suzanne Rogers Tooley and the husband of Tamela Marie Vaughn Tooley. He was a Veteran of the United States Marines and a teller supervisor at United Bank in Greer. Coaching was his passion and he loved the Georgia Bulldogs. He coached his kids in travel softball with the Upward Stars and his team the American Outlaws. He also coached middle school and high school football at Greer, Blue Ridge, and JL Mann High School.
Survivors also include three daughters, Skye Tooley, Milana Tooley and Georgia Tooley; a son, Quinton Tooley; two sisters, Scottie Johnson and her husband, Todd and Donna Plemmons and her husband, Shane; and a grandchild, Stetson Tooley.
Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eric Wooten officiating. The family will receive friends from 12PM until 1PM prior to the service. Interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
