JAMES WILSON
Westminster– James Aaron Wilson, 64, of 111 Cedar Street, Westminster, son of the late Joyce Wilson and Sara Isbell Wilson Kornegay passed away in 2024. He was the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Isbell of Westminster and was Oconee Counties first baby of the year in 1960. Aaron's body was donated for Science and Medical research.
Aaron was originally from Greenville, South Carolina, but moved to the upstate several years ago. He graduated with honors from JL Mann High School and attended North Greenville and Winthrop Universities. After college he served in the United States Air Force for seven years.
Aaron is survived by his aunt, Rosa Lee Isbell of Westminster, South Carolina; and several cousins.
Aaron is also proceeded in death by a sister, Sheree Wilson Egan; and four uncles, Ralph, Robert, Ray and James Isbell; and an aunt Mildred Isbell.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held April 9th, 2025 at 2:00 pm, at the MJ Dolly Cooper Veterans Cemetery, 140 Inway Drive, Anderson, South Carolina, with full military honors.
