Robert T. Ward, 68, of Duboistown, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, surrounded by his family at UPMC Williamsport. He was born in Williamsport on May 1, 1957, a son of the late James Sterling and Margaret (Thomas) Ward.

Robert served his country in the United States Army. He worked at and retired from High Steel Structures as a crane operator for over 40 years. A true and active outdoorsman, Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, bike rides, boating, and snowmobiling. He liked to cook; play cornhole and take his motorcycle on the road. In his younger years, he would put together RC cars, planes, and trucks to fly and drive around for fun. Robert was very handy, especially with woodworking and carpentry. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and many special dogs he had throughout the years. Robert had a great sense of humor and could usually be seen with a smile on his face.

Robert is survived by his two daughters, Bobbie Jo Ward of Linden; and Tanya Ward of Philadelphia; three grandchildren, Dylan Bower, Kayla Bower, and Ciara Ward; three brothers, Tim Ward (Ginny) of Montoursville; Jim Ward (Cheryl) of Linden; and Ron Ward (Jodi) of Jersey Shore; a sister, Linda Clark (Tim) of Jersey Shore; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service for Robert will be held at a later date, when the weather gets nicer and time can be spent remembering him outdoors. To leave a condolence for the family, please visit www.jamesmaneval.com.
