Robert D. Watt, 82 of Rochester NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday March 23, 2025.
He was born May 22, 1942, to Robert & Elizabeth (Crooks) Watt in Reynoldsville PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Roberta Metro, Betty (Babe) Kessler and Patty Watt and brother Andrew (Bucky) Watt. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob grew up in a small mining town in Central Pennsylvania. After high school, he moved north and graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College. Bob served in the US Air Force, mainly in Alaska. He worked as a salesman at a paper company, Alling and Cory, for many years. Bob was active in the Rochester household estate sales business, and worked as a florist at Stanley's Floral. He went back to school to become a massage therapist, and then a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Bob was an avid runner for most of his adult life, and a lover of nature, art and music. He was an active member of the Friends (Quakers) Meeting for decades.
Bob was a Friend of Bill for 48 years, helping hundreds of people with selfless acts of service.
Bob was loved by all who knew him.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 30 at 1pm at Temple Beth El, 139 Winton Road South. Please enter the parking lot on Hillside Drive.

Robert "Bob" was truly a one of a kind and a joy to our family here at the Episcopal Church Home he will be missed dearly thought and talked about daily with great memories we send our love prayers and condolences to Robert and his family and friends.
