Robert "Gregg" Webster, 69, of New Cumberland, West Virginia passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025, after a brief illness, with his loving family at his side. Gregg was born on July 22, 1956, and was a lifelong resident of New Cumberland, West Virginia. He was the son of Lucinda Patterson Webster and the late Robert Raymond Webster. In addition to his father, Gregg was preceded in death by grandparents, Merrill and Verna Webster and Alice and Paul Thayer, and many aunts and uncles. Gregg graduated from Oak Glen High School and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He retired in January 2021. Gregg will be remembered as a deeply loving, kind and caring man with a great sense of humor. He had a deep connection with and was fiercely protective of his grandchildren. He cherished every moment with them, whether it be at their games, events, vacations, family dinners or chilling by the pool. They brought him great joy. He also enjoyed watching/traveling to his son and grandchildren's sporting events over the years. Gregg was crowned grill master of steaks by his grandbabies. He had a deep resonance with the beach and visited with family as much as he could. Gregg was also an avid football fan from childhood. He loved the Steelers, along with his WVU Mountaineers. He will be forever greatly missed and remembered with love. In addition to his mother, Gregg is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patti (Kelly) Webster; son, Jason Robert Webster of Morgantown, West Virginia; grandchildren Taylor Webster (Sarah Soltys) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Kaylee Webster of Weirton, West Virginia. Gregg is also survived by his beloved siblings, Paul (Tammy) Webster of Bructon Mills, West Virginia; Terri Jezierski, Marc (Anita) Webster, and Todd (Stacie) Webster of New Cumberland, West Virginia, a special sister-in-law, Barb (Mike) Zias, and a brother-in-law, John Kelly, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Gregg also leaves behind Shawna Webster and London Smith, who were very near and dear to his heart. The family would like to give special thanks to the neurological team at Allegheny General Hospital, and Valley Hospice Care Center, for their exceptional care, kindness, love and compassion. In accordance with Gregg's wishes, there will be no visitation or memorial. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Arner Funeral Chapel, Chester, West Virginia. Donations in Gregg's memory can be made to Valley Hospice. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Robert "Gregg", please visit our floral store.
