Robert H. Woldt, age 88, of Manitowoc passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Robert was born July 25, 1935 in the Town of Morrison, son of the late Harold and Evelyn (Schaeuble) Woldt. He attended Wayside Lutheran School, Brillion High School and Cleveland Technical College. Robert served his country in the U.S. Army from November 1954 to October 1956. He married Christine (Evenson) on April 30, 1960. On June 22, 2002 he then married the former Ruth Remiker.
Robert was a farmer and later worked for M.E.C. retiring after 38+ years. Following retirement he was part of AMVET's Post #99, Machinist Lodge #516 and he also volunteered at the Hamilton Home in Two Rivers.
Survivors include his wife: Ruth Woldt; his children: Deborah (George) Sholler, Elden (Kaylinn) Woldt, Barb (Mike) Quam, Arlen (Tina) Woldt; four step children: Suelynn Schneider, Sally Rezash, Mike (Jennifer) Remiker, Marlis (Greg) Olewinski; 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, aunts Jeanette Loppnow and Erna Woldt, brother-in-law Conrad Evenson; sister-in-law Barbara Evenson; brother-in-law William Sheahan; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Harold & Evelyn Woldt, uncles Orville and Elroy Woldt and Edwin Loppnow and his first wife Christine (Evenson) Woldt, son-in-law Brian Rezash..
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Joel Brassfield with entombment to take place at Knollwood Mausoleum at a later date.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday, June 21, 2024 until the time of the services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent in Robert's name to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Two Rivers Senior Center or the Hamilton Home activity fund.
