Roberta Rogene Isaacs

Roberta R. Isaacs, 76, of New Holstein died Friday evening December 12, 2025 at her home. She is the former Roberta Faust, born on October 15, 1949 daughter of the late Joseph J. and Cyrilla M (Ditter) Faust. Roberta graduated from Kiel High School.

On September 12, 1970 she was united in marriage to Gary Isaacs at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Roberta worked first at Willowdale Nursing Center and later at Willowpark Assisted Living. She was a dedicated nurse and caregiver there until her retirement. Roberta volunteered for many years for the Salvatorians and more recently with the St. Vinvent DePaul Society. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and active with the Christian Women. She also helped plan events for church like the Fall Festival. Roberta was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Red Hatters Society for many years. She enjoyed traveling but found much joy going to her cabin up north, taking rides in the side by side and playing cards with Diane, Joe and Pat. She also found comfort working in her flower gardens. Roberta enjoyed her time with family, always setting up the next Faust get-together. She especially loved her visits with her Aunt Margaret, sneaking away to enjoy an ice cream treat.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years; Gary, daughter; Ronda (Scott) Brown, son; Scott (Paula) Isaacs, grandchildren; Denali, McKinley and Tenada Isaacs, brothers; Joe (Rosie) Faust, Del (Julie) Faust, sisters-in-law; Darlene Faust, Betty (Pat) Quinn, Jeanne Isaacs, a very special aunt; Margaret Steinert along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother; Jerry Faust, brother-in-law; Larry Isaacs.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial Service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday December 27, 2025 at Meiselwitz-Vollstedt-DeTroye Funeral Home. (815 6th St. Kiel) A time of visitation will take place at the funeral home from 9:00am until 11:00am when services will begin.

Roberta's family would like to thank the many friends who have helped along the way, especially her aunt Margaret, Marilyn Steffen, Frankie Coots and Kathy Lisowe. They would also like to thank Calumet County Hospice for keeping her comfortable in her last days.
