Roberto Loredo Hernandez, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on August 11, 2025, in Houston, Texas, at the age of 72. He was born on May 10, 1953, in Mexico. Roberto faced life's challenges with unwavering courage, embodying the true warrior of the faith he was. His journey was one marked by a deep love for God and a steadfast belief in the gospel of Jesus Christ. He fought valiantly through his final days, finishing his course with grace.
Roberto dedicated his life to being a caring and loving father, a humanitarian at heart who would give his last to anyone in need. He cherished every moment spent with his family, driven by an unwavering desire to provide joy and happiness to those he loved. His children—Iris Macias, Roberto Hernandez, Leticia Hernandez, Santiago Hernandez, and Regina Escamilla—were his pride and joy, and he took immense pride in being their father. In their eyes, he was not just a parent, but a constant source of love, support, and inspiration.
Grandchildren held a special place in Roberto's heart, as he often took two-hour bus rides just to ensure he shared joyful moments at the park with them. His grandchildren—Roberto Trinity Hernandez, Christian Hernandez, Sofia Hernandez, Mia Valentina Hernandez, Sol Macias, Savannah Macias, Dominic Macias, Derek Macias, Melinda Sue Leggett, Danielle Roxanna Leggett, Katalina Escamilla, Karoline Escamilla, Rodney Escamilla, and Evangelina Hernandez—were his world, and in return, their lives were enriched by his warmth, kindness, and laughter.
An accomplished carpenter, Roberto had a remarkable talent for building and designing custom cabinets, breathing new life into homes in need of transformation. His craftsmanship was a blend of skill and artistry that not only enhanced the beauty and value of homes but also fulfilled his passion for creating spaces filled with love and comfort.
In addition to his professional dedication, Roberto had a zest for life. He loved taking trips to Mexico and had a particular affinity for baseball, especially the Houston Astros. His interests reflected his vibrant spirit and his desire to enjoy each moment to its fullest.
Roberto's legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him. He leaves behind his siblings: Bernardo Hernandez, Margarita Alonso, Flor Bolz, Leobardo Hernandez, Josefina Hernandez, and Serveriana Juárez, with whom he shared countless memories and laughter.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Roberto's life at Integrity Funeral Home, located at 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, TX. Visitation will take place on August 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and again on August 15, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 11:30 AM.
