Robin Hogue Obituary
She was born March 30, 1966 in Meadville, a daughter of James Arthur and Shirley Ann Jackson Nichol. She married Ted Hogue in November 1984.
Robin was a 1984 graduate of Saegertown High School. She worked as a Personal Care Aid at Quality Living Center for over 25 years and also worked at Wesbury in the dietary department.
Robin enjoyed crocheting, puzzles, kayaking, and flower gardening. She also would enter Afghans into the Crawford County Fair for many years winning multiple ribbons. Robin was a member of Saegertown American Legion Post 205.
Survivors include four daughters, Jessica Bowes (fiancé Josh) of Cambridge Springs, Ashley Longstreth (James) of Meadville, Casey Yoder (companion Shane) of Meadville, and Tara Shay (companion David) of Meadville; former husband, Ted Hogue; her parents, James and Shirley Nichol of Saegertown; twelve grandchildren, Landyn, Kieley, Cori, Macy, Adalyn, Asia, Ethan, Ryker, Brooke, Laszlo, Kenzie, and Rylie; two brothers; Dale Nichol (Angie) of Cambridge Springs and Terry Nichol of Saegertown; a sister, Tracy Nichol of Saegertown; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Violet Nichol; maternal grandparents; George and Katherine Jackson; an infant brother, Kenneth Nichol; and a grandson, Aiden.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 19th from 4-6 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where a Celebration of Robin's life will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Fr. Mark Nowak officiating.
Memorials may be made to Yolanda Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd. or Hospice of Crawford County (for the Marquette Hospice House), 766 Liberty St., both of Meadville, PA 16335.

My fondest memories of Robin were while we were both much younger. She would visit in the summer and occasionally spend the night. She taught me how to perform a round off, back handspring. It felt like I had an older sister, if only for a short while.She was very kind hearted and she had our grandmothers fiestiness.
