Robin Spoon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory - Buford Chapel on Mar. 1, 2026.
Robin Blair Wilkins Spoon, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and treasured friend, passed away peacefully from natural causes on February 27, 2026, at the age of 85. She entered into eternal rest surrounded by the love that she so freely gave throughout her life.

Born on May 14, 1940, in Pennington Gap, Virginia, Robin lived a life defined by faith, compassion, and steadfast love. Her Christian faith was the foundation of her life. She was deeply involved in Bible study and prison ministry, where she offered encouragement, hope, and grace to so many. Robin had a special gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved.

She found joy in life's simple pleasures - spending quiet moments with a good book and savoring her favorite Starbucks lattes and frappés. These small comforts reflected her gentle spirit and appreciation for everyday blessings.

Robin also built a meaningful professional life in real estate as a sales agent with ReMax. She was admired for her integrity, tireless work ethic, and genuine care for her clients. To her, real estate was never just about property - it was about helping families find a place to call home.

Above all, Robin's greatest joy was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Blair Jones, Robert Wilkins, and Stephen Wilkins and wife Angie. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Taylor Cohen, Grayson Cohen and wife Janne, Bayli Wragg and husband Chris, Shelby Wilkins, and Bret Jones, and a delighted great-grandmother to Theodore Cohen and Judah Cohen, who brought endless light to her life. She is also survived by her dear siblings, Keener Whitesell and wife Marilyn, Becky Eason, and Melody Haspel and husband Randy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tom Spoon, with whom she shared a lifetime of cherished memories. She was also preceded in death by Robert Whitesell, Alta Whitesell, and Thomas Spoon.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Robin's beautiful life during a visitation on Monday, March 2, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM in the Buford Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory. A funeral service honoring her life and faith will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the chapel, followed by burial at Peachtree Memorial Park, Peachtree Corners, GA.
