Jerry A. Spoon age 83 of Lenoir City passed away January 12, 2026. Jerry was of the Primitive Baptist faith. He was retired from LCUB after 31 years of service. Jerry served as a volunteer fireman with the Lenoir City Fire Department for over 20 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, camp and work in his yard.
Preceded by his parents, Hubert and Annie Graves Spoon; brother, David Spoon, and grandson, Billy James Shanton.
Survived by his wife of 62 years, Janice Parris Spoon; children: Lisa Johnson (Billy), Penny Davis (Mike), and Stephen Spoon (Carrisa); grandchildren: Alicia Johnson Thomas (John), Madison Johnson, Hunter Davis (Kayla), Corey Spoon, Krislyn Spoon Alter (Skyler), and Ashlyn Spoon; great-grandchildren: Sydnie Thomas, Braydon Thomas, Huntlyn Davis, Fisher Davis and 1 unborn great-grandchild; brother, Gary Spoon (Darlene) along with several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 17th at Lenoir City Cemetery for graveside services. Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.
