Mr. Rodger Allen Foshee, 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at his home in Oxford, MS. The funeral service will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel at Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Moore officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in the Eastover Memorial Cemetery.

Born on December 18, 1945, in Vardaman, MS, Rodger served in the U. S. Army as a Military Policeman, then later retired as a fraud investigator for the State of Mississippi. He was proud to be an Assistant Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop # 146, and a member of First Baptist Church in Calhoun City. Rodger never met a stranger nor met anyone he didn't like; that was just his peaceful nature. His love of camping, reading, and folk music did not go unnoticed but his greatest joy were his 4 grandchildren with whom he shared his love of Ole Miss football.

Rodger was preceded in death by his father, Edward Enoch Foshee; his mother, Ivon Spratlin; his sisters, Maggie Moorehead, Floretta Foshee, and Jonita Foshee; his brothers, J.W. Foshee, James Foshee, Lynn Foshee, and Ray Foshee.

Survivors include his wife, Ardona Howell Foshee of Oxford, MS; a daughter, Olivia Foshee (Lauchlin Fields) of Vicksburg, MS; a son, Rodger Allen Foshee, Jr. (Kateryna) of Oxford, MS; brother, Gene Foshee (Marion) of Tampa, FL; and grandchildren, Anatolii Avdiienko, Maria Jessica Foshee, Grady Fields, and Henry Fields.

Memorials may be made in Rodger's memory to Multiple Sclerosis: https://donate.nationalmssociety.org/ or to St. Jude’s: www.stjude.org/give, or the charity of the donor's choice.
