Rodney Craig Eddington, age 62 of White Pine, Tennessee, passed away on September 19, 2025. Born on January 15, 1963, Rodney was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend whose generous spirit and lively personality touched the lives of many.
Rodney was known for his deep love of cars and spent countless hours under the hood, turning wrenches and sharing his passion with anyone who asked. A true car enthusiast, he found joy in the roar of an engine and the satisfaction of a job well done. He was also proudly known as a ladies’ man - charming, funny, and always ready with a story or a smile.
Rodney had a heart as big as his laugh. He would help anyone in need and was the kind of man who’d give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. His kindness, loyalty, and sense of humor made him unforgettable to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Taylor Eddington. He is survived by his loving mother, Earlene Eddington; his brother, Michael Eddington; and his children, Christopher Eddington and Curtis Eddington (Kasey). Rodney was a proud grandfather to Julie, Kevin, Rylan, Kassidy, Kalvin, Kolton, Blake, Konner, and Hayden, Rodney also shared a special bond with his dear friends of over 20 years, Jeff and Sandy.
Rodney's legacy lives on in the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the family and friends who will carry his spirit forward. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
