Rodney was born in Indianapolis on February 28, 1976, to Rodney Teckenbrock and Debbie Smith.
Rodney attended Hamilton Heights High School and loved participating in the football and baseball programs. Rodney was employed by Fortune Wireless as a Construction Manager. Rodney was an avid Colts fan and loved watching and attending Sunday games. The family was important to Rodney and the focus of his free time. He loved being with family, having cookouts, making everyone laugh, having good political discussions, always going with the flow, and being the life of the party, never turning down a good adventure. *shmily*
Rodney is survived by his Wife, Amanda Lee Teckenbrock of Lehigh Acres, FL; Mother, Debbie Darlene Smith of Indianapolis, IN; Father, Rodney Earl (Debbie) Teckenbrock of Largo, FL; Sister, Crystal Teckenbrock; Brother, Richard Teckenbrock; Brother, Chad Teckenbrock; Sister, Kelly Teckenbrock; Son, Michael S (Alainea) Peters; Son, Tristen A Teckenbrock; Son, Austin T (Katelyn) Teckenbrock; Daughter, Autumn S (Derek) Rennie; Daughter, Jocelyn R Teckenbrock; Daughter, Paige J Teckenbrock; Daughter, Ariana V Becker; Shannon M. Absher of Fishers, IN; Grandkids: Dakota Teckenbrock, Kaylor Teckenbrock, Everett Peters, Kane Teckenbrock, Kai Rennie, Koa Rennie, and Kolson Brown; as well as several nieces & nephews.
Rodney was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter & Edna Teckenbrock, and Ralph Smith & Dorothy Chambers.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, 2024, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, at Hartley Funeral Home, 209 West Jackson Street, Cicero, Indiana.
The funeral service will immediately follow visitation at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Hartley Funeral Home, Cicero, Indiana with Eric Teckenbrock officiating.
