Rodrigo Perez Lucio, our beloved Popo, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on November 15, 2022, at the age of 87. He was born on November 15, 1935, in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico to Maria del Jesus Perez Lucio and Agustin Perez Sifuentes.
He is preceded into death by his wife, Leticia Perez Moya, his son Rodrigo, and his brother, Agustin Vicente.
Rodrigo moved to the United States when he was 27 years old and built a life with his family in San Antonio, Texas. He worked hard and had many friends who loved him dearly. He was a lifelong baseball fan who enjoyed seeing the Houston Astros win the World Series this year. He was quite the character who was always joking with people. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his family; his sisters Guadalupe and Carmela, his children, Connie Perez, Diana Cisneros (Roland), David Perez, his grandchildren, Caroline Alcantar (Rolando), Eric Perez (Claudia), Edward Perez, Christopher Cisneros, Samantha Perez (Diego Martinez), his great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Pilot, Celeste, Nicolas, Gabriella, daughter in laws, Eyra and Lily, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be on November 22, 2022, from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm at Castillo Funeral Home.
We are so blessed to have had you in our lives, Popo. Descanse en paz. We will miss you so much.
