With deep sorrow and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rogelio Capristo Jr., a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, who left us far too soon on June 29, 2025, at the age of 38. He was born on December 25, 1986, in Fresno, California, to Rogelio Capristo and Alejandrina Villela, who loved and cherished him deeply.
Rogelio was a man full of life, kindness, and strength. A proud father of four children, he was their protector, provider, and hero. His children brought him immense joy, and he gave them his whole heart.
He was a truly exceptional son, who had an unbreakable bond with his parents, whom he loved with unmatched devotion. As a brother and friend, he was loyal, supportive, and always willing to lend a hand or a listening ear. His presence could light up a room, and his laughter was contagious.
Rogelio was known for his incredible work ethic - a dedicated coworker and hardworking man who earned the respect of everyone around him. Outside of work, he loved to travel, fish, and enjoy life to the fullest.
His favorite color was burgundy, which suited his rich and vibrant personality. Born on Christmas Day, he never once complained about having to share his birthday. On the contrary, Rogelio made it a double celebration filled with warmth, humor, and gratitude.
Rogelio will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his children, parents, siblings, extended family, friends, and coworkers - a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering spirit.
Until we meet again, Rogelio, thank you for everything. You will always be with us.
