Roger Alan Adwell, age 66, of Chanute, Kansas, passed away on August 23, 2025, at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center.
Born in McPherson, Kansas, to Leroy A. Adwell and Murla D. (Becker) Adwell, Roger grew up in Conway and graduated from McPherson High School before attending Salina Vo-Tech, where he studied Electronics. He began his career at Kustom Signals as an Electronics Technician and, through determination and self-taught skill, rose to the position of Senior Design Engineer. His work reflected his ingenuity, dedication, and perseverance.
Roger's life was defined by more than his career. He loved collecting treasures, taking on home renovation projects, and serving as an active member of the Chanute First Christian Church. He will be remembered for his humor, generosity, faith, and the deep love he carried for his family and friends.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy A. and Murla D. (Becker) Adwell.
Roger is survived by his wife, Melody; sons, Trevor, Stephen (Leah), and Benjamin (Kaitlin); grandchildren, Gideon, Jackson, Julian, Justice, Desmond, and Ellis; and siblings, Patricia Turnquist, Laura Johannsen, and Douglas Adwell.
Roger's legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in all who knew him.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, 10:30 a.m., at the First Christian Church, 102 North Grant Avenue, Chanute, Kansas. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church, Chanute, Kansas, and may be left with Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 US Highway 54, Iola, Kansas.
