Roger Alan Barned, 77, of Rochester, New York, died November 17, 2023 at his home in Bath, New York.
Roger was born in Rochester, NY to Robert O. and Frances A. Barned on May 27, 1946. He went to high school at Benjamin Franklin High School in Rochester and graduated in 1964. He worked for Eastman Kodak Company in Rochester for 30 years. Roger enjoyed reading and pets, and he was a lifelong Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Giants fan.
Roger is survived by his children, Derek James of Rochester, Keith Christian (Roxanne) of Bath, and Jaime Lee of Bath; one grandchild, Logan, sisters Diane (James) Whitcomb, and Karen (St. John) Barned-Smith, brother Richard and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sisters Mabel Perkins and Juliette Barned, and brother Robert Barned.
Because of his lifelong love of his pets, donations may be made in his name to any local SPCA or animal shelter.
