Roger Ralph Bigam

Roger Ralph Bigam, 75 of Connellsville died on Sunday February 4, 2024 at his home. He was born on April 3, 1948 in Connellsville a son of the late Ralph and Mary Basinger Bigam. Roger worked at Sensus Technologies ( Rockwell) for 43 years. He served in the Army Reserves from 1968- 1976. He was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church where he served in different offices in the past. He graduated from Connellsville High School in 1966 and Penn State, Fayette Campus in 1968. He loved hunting, football, camping and time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly Pritts Bigam; son Michael Bigam; grandchildren, Allie, Austin and Alec Richter; son-in-law, Allen Richter; brother, Robert Dale Bigam and wife Karen; brother-in-law, Earl Pritts and wife Karen; sister-in-law, Julie Miller and husband Jerry. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Melanie Bigam Richter; brother, Dennis Bigam; father and mother-in-law, Domer and Nettie Pritts and brother-in-law, James Pritts. Family and friends will be received from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME,INC., 111 E. Green St., Connellsville. Additional viewing will take place at the Indian Creek Baptist Church, Mill Run on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon, the hour of funeral services with Rev. Kevin Daniels officiating. Interment, with military honors will follow in the Indian Creek Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hillman Caner Center.
