Roger Emerick Obituary

A private service will be held at Florence National Cemetery.
Born in Hamburg, IL, Mr. Emerick was the son of the late George Lewis Emerick and the late Louise Heil Emerick. He was a Korean war veteran. He was a member of West Main Church of the Nazarene, now known as Trinity Church of the Nazarene, where he was a head usher for many years. Mr. Emerick retired from General Motors in June, 1988 with 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline L. Emerick and son, Mark Emerick.
Mr. Emerick is survived by his son, Jacob Emerick of Michigan; his daughter, Irene B. Emerick of Orangeburg, SC; his grandchildren, Brian K. Emerick of York, SC and Erin C. Emerick; his brother, Donald G. Emerick of Kansas and sister, Joyce E. Massin of WV.
Memorials may be made in Mr. Emerick's name to Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 436 Taylors Creek Road, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
