He is survived by his wife, Darnell Brunet.
He was preceded in death by his father, Evest Gregoire; mother, Zenola Picou Gregoire; sisters, Thelma Theresa Gregoire Rodrigue, Mable Scott, Wilma Wilkinson and Dorthy Sapia; brothers, Wiggis Gregoire, Lonny Gregoire, Evest Gregoire, Jr. and Joseph Gregoire.
He loved to cook and he was a cook offshore for 26 years, he loved telling stories about working offshore, loved joking and making people laugh.
He loved listening to old country music and loved all animals. He loved watching Bewitched and anything about Dolly Parton.
